Join us on our annual retreat day at Corpus Christi Church as Franciscan Fr. Dan Riley, O.F.M. leads us on a spiritual journey into the prophetic side of Thomas Merton. Through prayer, openness, and reflection, Merton's writings will lead us to compassion, peace, and hope.
Fr. Daniel Riley, O.F.M., a member of the Holy Name Province, the largest community of Franciscan friars in the United States, has been a friar for over 50 years, and has been affiliated with St. Bonaventure University for over 40. He serves as animator and founder of Mount Irenaeus, a Franciscan retreat community steeped in prayer, nature, contemplation, and communal experience. Fr. Dan’s vast array of interests and ministries range between theology, the sciences, woodworking, civil rights, sculpture, work with young people, and world peace.
